Ada Sari Polish opera singer - collection of memorabilia, photographs, letters, notes

Ada Sari, owned by Jadwiga Szayer , world-famous Polish opera singer, coloratura soprano. She performed on the greatest opera stages (including La Scala in Milan, Carnegie Hall in New York), after World War II she devoted herself to teaching.
Most of the singer's memorabilia, diplomas or photos were burned during the Warsaw Uprising, which she repeatedly mentioned in interviews.

Ada Sari's collection of private sheet music with notes:
G. Puccini La Boheme, 1896. signature of Ada Sari, local corrections and notes in pencil and pen (cover loose, spine missing, number 9 inscribed on pasteboard, first folder loose
G. Puccini La Tosca, 1902, Ada Sari's signature on pre-title page, character list and title page, numerous pen and pencil annotations (spine missing, covers loose, folds loose, some pages soiled, damp)
Collection of sheet music and sheet music notebooks (16 pieces) with dedications and signatures of Ada Sari (bear traces of heavy use, tears, tape backing, dampness)

A collection of 55 photographs:
Photo of Ada Sari on the ship "Principessa Mafalda" in 1925 from Bologna (the ship was called the Italian Titanic, sank in 1927). The photograph comes from one of the singer's most exotic voyages. Already a star of European stages, she went on a tour of South America.
