Commemorative frame on the occasion of promotion to sergeant, Wehrmacht. At the top a visible cast of the image of a German soldier on a circular plan, at the bottom a plaque engraved "Zum Besorderung / Weihn. 1940 / Dein Bruder" ("In memory of / Christmas 1940 / Your brother"). On the reverse side, a card signed "Zum Besorderung zum Feldwebel von Bruder Toni!" ("In memory of promotion to sergeant from brother Toni!") and three pieces of translation tape, added later. Perfect condition. Measures 21.1 cm x 15.9 cm.
