A nice piece of a very rare issue.
Obverse: head to the left, above it the dates 1798-1898, below it a ribbon with the inscription A. MICKIEWICZ and the initials of the medallicist W.O. on a book, a feather and laurel and palm branches;
Reverse: TAM SIEGAJ, WHERE EYE SIGHT/Doesn't SLEEP;/BREAK WHAT REASON WILL NOT BREAK;/Youth! EAGLE OF THY FLIGHTS/POWER/AS LIGHTNING THY ARM!
