On the obverse, figures of a peasant with a scythe and a nobleman in a fraternal handshake, probably referring to the enfranchisement of peasants and their participation in the January Uprising. In the rim, the date 1863 in Roman notation MDCCCLXIII. Below, in the section, the signature CH. WIENER.
On the reverse, a three-field shield with the coats of arms of Poland, Lithuania and Ruthenia in the arrangement of the January Uprising. In the rim, EQUALITY ✶ FREEDOM ✶ INDEPENDENCE.
