Jan Matejko, medal, bronze. 53 mm diameter. Obverse: profile of the painter. After the circle the inscription- Jan Matejko. Below the signature of the medalist BARRE. Reverse: laurel leaves with inscription inside-"new glory adorned the homeland". Outside in a circle: "to the painter of history countrymen MDCCCLXXV". Good state of preservation.
