Av. in his studio, with a view of the Monnaie de Paris, a sellette with statuette and an easel, the artist himself, Georges Dupré, at work engraving on his desk with various tools and projects including Salut au soleil or the reverse of this medal; signature G. DUPRÉ.
Rv. On a terrace in front of a coastline, a woman seated on the left, inspired by the statuette on the obverse, accompanied by a veiled allegory behind her, looks at a medal in a case; signature G. DUPRÉ.


Maier.19; Silver - 110 g - 64.5 mm - 12 h


On the edge, hallmarks (horn) SILVER (lizard) and number 17. Only 94 struck in silver and distributed to members of the Société des Amis de la Médaille Française.


In a later case. Two small dings on the reverse of the scroll. Superb condition.
