Stanislaw Ursyn-Pruszyński (1857-1929) - coat of arms Rawicz, general of the C.K. Austro-Hungarian Army, then of the Polish Army. He began his service in the 4th lancer regiment in Monasterzyska near Tarnopol. He was assigned to the staff of the heir to the throne, Archduke Rudolph, then commander of the 13th Galician lancer regiment in Zloczow and Zborow in eastern Malopolska. In the First War he was a commander in: Lutsk, Kowel, Chelm, Lublin, Zamosc. In the war of 1919-1920 - commander of the 8th Rifle Division under General Haller. Commander in the Bolshevik war of the Volkovysk stage. He entered Grudziądz in 1920.
Arthur Löwental - famous sculptor and medalist from Vienna. In 1912 he made a bust of Beethoven for the Philharmonic Hall in Moscow. He portrayed in 1930. Einstein, and in 1934 he emigrated to England, where he portrayed Churchill.
