Bronze medal 6.3 cm in diameter. Medal issued on the occasion of the landing of the Apollo 11 spacecraft on the Moon and the first stay of man on its surface. On the obverse a view of the lander on the lunar surface, with the Earth in the empty sky. On the reverse, likenesses of the three astronauts: Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin. On the edge a stamped inscription: "Medallic Art Co. N.Y. Bronze." Minor scuffs.
