Av. NAPOLEON III - EMPEROR. Head laurel to left; below, signature A. BORREL.
Rv. EXPEDITION DE CHINE ET DE COCHINCHINE. On a nave to the right, an imperial allegory, cuirassed with toga adorned with bees, holding a scepter surmounted by an eagle and thunderbolt, a dragon reclining at her feet in submission; signature A. BORREL - 1869 and exergue: 1860-1862.

Ruedas 22 ; Bronze - 246,72 g - 76 mm - 12 h

In its original green leatherette case.

This medal is not hallmarked on the edge, perhaps a hallmark (horn) on the right-hand scroll at 6:30. Beautiful brown patina. Superb at Fleur de coin.
