Map published during the lifetime of its author, the Polish cartographer Waclaw Grodecki (ca. 1535-1591), and included in subsequent editions of the atlas of the famous geographer and publisher Abraham Ortelius (1527-1598). Second state of the map dated 1570, with minor changes concerning Pomerania. Good condition, framed 64 x 74 cm (left window with visible text on the back).Lit.: K.
