Third state of the 1626 map of Poland. Informative cartouche in upper right corner; engraver's signature at bottom right on map field, and cartouche with linear scale and publisher's note at bottom left. Map surrounded on three sides by decorative frame containing views of cities, figures in period costumes, coats of arms of Poland and Silesia. Upper frame: views of cities: Cracow, Gdansk, Poznan, Krosno, Sandomierz and Wroclaw, in the center a portrait of Sigismund III; on the side strips of the map figures in period costumes and the mentioned coats of arms. One of the most beautiful maps of Poland of the 17th century. Verso- The Description of Poland "The Description of Poland" Two-page text. Pag. (31) and (32).
