One of the most famous maps of Poland of the late 16th and first half of the 17th century, made by Gerard Mercator was a reworking of Waclaw Grodecki's map and an adaptation of Martin Helwig's map to depict Silesia. On the half north it reaches to the line of cities: Stargard, Tuchola, Grudziądz, on the east to Lvov, on the back the text in Latin: Polonia Regnum, pagina: 268-269, signed Cccccc.
