Zygmunt Kotlarczyk (1922-1994)

Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus
Copernicus University in Torun; graduated in 1951 in the atelier of
Tymon Niesiolowski. Since 1961 employed as a teaching fellow
Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University: first in the Department of Drawing, and since
1969 in the Department of Printmaking (from 1966 assistant professor, and in 1977.
is appointed associate professor). Member of the Association of Polish Artists
Artists and - founded in 1958 by Stanislaw
Borysowski - the "Toruń Group"; active participant in numerous
national and international exhibitions - including at the Libertyville Art Center
(USA), in 1964.
