One of the many hidden places on the Vistula River.
The Vistula, where you can swim and fish for pike; a clean and wild river full of sandbars and wicker bushes. Welcome to the 1950s!!! Guaranteed flooding 2x a year and Grandpa Jachu fishing on the lowest clay step cut by his own hands. The author of the picture was learning to swim in the above przywiśla lake, and the grandfather complained that I was scaring away his fish. We all waited for the flood and moved the sticks higher and higher, and then with old, leaky canoes we floated over the flooded, flowered meadows. Jacek Yerka
