Wojciech Adam Witkowski has lived in Sierpc since his birth. He has been painting for
many years, mainly portraits, landscapes, flowers and horses. He is interested in various
painting techniques, but mostly practices oil painting, watercolor
and pastel. In recent years, he has also often turned to acrylic paint.
He has developed his own recognizable painting style, which is a combination of
Impressionism, Expressionism and Colorism.
He is a graduate of the Kazimierz Wielki Academy of Bydgoszcz. Studied
Post-graduate studies in the field of "fine arts, history of art" at the Paweł Włodkowic University in Płock.

For several years, has been a member of the Adult Art Group "IMPRESSION"
operating in the Center for Culture and Art in Sierpc and co-founder of the
ASPekt art group associating graduates of postgraduate studies
majoring in "painting and drawing" at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Chairman of the
Auditing Committee of the Mazovian Association of Fine Arts Artists.
Conducts art and ceramic classes for children, youth and
adult artists.
Long-term participant in dozens of national and international
plein-air art workshops.
Six times he won and several times he was awarded and honored
in national art competitions in the category of adult artists.
Among other things, he won the seventh All-Polish art competition "Shrines and
Churches in the Mazovian landscape" in 2010, as well as the All-Poland art contest
"Beauty of Mazovia" art contest in 2015.
He presented his works at dozens of individual exhibitions,
among others at the Mill Cantor Cultural and Historical Center in
Strzegowo, the Frederic Chopin European Artistic Center in
Sanniki, twice at the "P" Gallery in Plock, at the Mazovian Village Museum
in Sierpc, at the Paweł Tencer Gallery of the Municipal Cultural Center in
Gostynin, at the Museum of Romanticism in Opinogóra, at the Center for Culture and
Art in Sierpc, at the Darmstadt House in Plock, at the "RAMA" Gallery of the Municipal
Cultural Center in Józefów and many others.
He has participated in dozens of group and post-exhibitions,
among others at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kaliningrad, at the
"Lviv's Own Thatch Gallery" located at the headquarters of the Lviv
Society of Friends of Fine Arts, in the gallery of the Land Forces Club in the
Warsaw Citadel, in the Museum of Polish Nobility in Ciechanów, in the
Senate of the Republic of Poland in Warsaw, at the House of Creative Work in
Uniejów, at the OFF Gallery Piotrkowska in Lodz, at the Boleslaw
Biegas in Ciechanow, at the Mazovian Museum in Plock, at the Art Gallery
na Prostej in Jabłonna, at the "White Wall" Gallery of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
