- Wiktor Dyndo. Region of Conflict, Bochenska Gallery, 2009
The featured painting belongs to the series "Region of Conflict", referring to the political situation in the Middle East. Stach Szabłowski wrote about Dynda's project as follows: "What does a painter have to say in the discourse of global foreign policy? When does the artist become a cartographer drawing political maps of the world and indicating on them the regions of conflict? How does the two-dimensional surface of a painting reflect the multidimensional experience of an individual confronting the enormity of information about globalized reality? Viktor Dyndo answers these questions using the means at the painter's disposal; he paints the forms of geostrategic imagery, shows the colors of ideologies, analyzes the aesthetics of power, and represents the visual signs of fear and manipulation (S. Szabłowski, Geography of Fear [2013], accessed at https://www.dyndo.net/info-pl).
