URSZULA WILK. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. In 1986 she defended her diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Zbigniew Karpinski. In the 1980s, twice a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art (1987 and 1988), winner of the Main Prize at the First Eugeniusz Geppert Post-Competition Exhibition of Painting and a scholarship holder of The Pollock-Krasner Foundation from New York, USA. In 2012, during her residency in China, the artist realized the exhibition "Lines" at Shangyuan Art Museum, as well as a series of works on Chinese paper" Unsent Letters from Beijing". The series was presented at a solo exhibition at Entropia Gallery, and is currently in the collection of the Zachęta Lower Silesia Gallery. Winner of the Grand Prize at the 2015 Shenzhen/China Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennial Exhibition. She has more than 30 solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
