Original drawing, illustration design. Artist's signature p.d. Bożena Truchanowska (b. 1929) - graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1955). Specializes in printmaking and applied graphics, including book illustration. She has worked with publishing houses such as Nasza Księgarnia, Czytelnik, Iskry, Ruch, Wydawnictwo Poznańska and the magazines "Płomyk", "Płomyczek", "Miś" and "Świerszczyk". She has illustrated nearly 100 books by excellent Polish and European writers, among them the most beautiful fairy tales of the world (including those of the Brothers Grimm, Perrault, Andersen). Books in her artwork have received numerous awards both in Poland and abroad.
