Biography
She began her studies in 1948-50 at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk, and continued under Zbigniew Pronaszko at the Cracow Academy in 1950-54. She was among the co-founders and members of the KRAKOW GROUP, which was reactivated after World War II. Rudowicz's earliest works were Surrealism-inspired watercolors and photomontages (1953). Her further work was kept in the character of abstract painting sometimes metaphorical. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, she began to create collages, in which she combined small non-artistic "readymade objects" with a painterly binder.
