provenance: private collection, Czestochowa Tadeusz Dominik (1928-2014) He is one of the classics of Polish contemporary art. A student and assistant of Jan Cybis, a legend of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. His works are in many state and private collections, including the National Museums in Warsaw, Krakow and Poznan, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museo de Bellas Artes in Caracas and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
Because color is like sound in music. There is no painting without it. It is the most important element of expression. One builds form with it, creates drawing. You can express everything with it, unlike line or value.
