Stanislaw Teisseyre (1905 - 1988) - painter and pedagogue, born in Lviv, educated in this city, as well as in France and Italy. Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan and Gdansk, associated with artists forming the so-called "Sopot school." The author of both oil and watercolor paintings, as well as monumental wall paintings in numerous sacred interiors. His works are in museum collections - the National Museum in Poznan and the National Museum in Gdansk - and in private collections. Participant in many individual and collective exhibitions.
