Biography
Someart, after graduating from several art schools, focused on painting extensively, vlakat punching and analog photography. He is interested in string theory and the multidimensionality of space. His paintings attempt to depict a world in which higher dimensions are perceived.
The octahedron is the sign he uses to represent the higher dimensions that are imperceptible to humans, a Platonic solid. The 'sign' itself is depicted in various locations. Sometimes it is merely an observer, exclusively analyzing and examining our unreal world. In contrast, at other times it sows destruction and unrest. Another of the artist's long-term, street-based projects are vlepki and vlakats, which are also Someart's portable, wall-mounted business cards. They depict human heads, faces of strangers and acquaintances, and representatives of various religions and professions. They can be found in many cities throughout Europe and beyond. The idea behind the project is to show the diversity, but also the individuality of each of us. We are all works of art. The artist's works have been presented in such galleries as Pure Evil Gallery - London, Stary Browar - Poznan, Centrum Kultury Zamek - Poznan, Microsoft Store NYC Flagship - New York, WellHung - London, Centrum Promocji Kultrury - Warsaw, Punkt - Gdynia.
