About the Artist:
At the beginning of his creative path, he dealt mainly with drawing, to pick up a brush after some time and let himself be absorbed by acrylic painting, the secrets of which he has been exploring to this day. The artist is constantly looking for new ways to fulfill himself in creating his specific painting world. He finds inspiration in the steel arteries of cities, concrete blocks or old factories, which are very characteristic of the place where the artist lives. The painter, strives in his work to create a coherent world, where each painting tells a story happening in one universe, at the same time being a separate dimension, not recognizable at first glance.
Sebastian Mon is a self-taught artist. He is an artist who participates in group and individual exhibitions held throughout the country. The artist's paintings can be found in private collections in Poland and abroad. The works also find their owners at auctions in the largest auction houses in the country. They are held in high esteem by collectors, who appreciate his extraordinary technique, colors and themes he takes up in his paintings. This places him among the best representatives of contemporary Polish painting today. He describes his work as "melancholic industrialism."
