Ryszard Grodnicki - Ph.D. art painter member of ZPAP
Born in Gdansk in 1947, he studied from 1971 to 1976 at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in the atelier of Prof. Władysław Jackiewicz. During this period he created a number of painting compositions in metal, glass, wood and artificial resins. After graduation, he became a member of the Association of Polish Artists, where he serves as chairman of the Youth Circle. In 1978, he began teaching in the Department of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture of the Faculty of Architecture at Gdansk University of Technology as an assistant, and since 1988 as an assistant professor in the same department. In 2000, he received his postdoctoral degree. In 2017, he completed his teaching work. His works are in many collections at home and abroad.
