BIOGRAPHY
Krzysztof Skarbek
Obtained a diploma in painting in the studio of Prof. Zbigniew Karpinski at the Academy of Fine Arts, now the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in 1985.
He has been a full professor since 2012.
He runs a graduate painting studio at the Faculty of Painting.
Deputy dean of the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture from 2008 to 2012, he works in easel painting, video art, actions and installations. He has participated in 400 group exhibitions and presented his works in 60 solo exhibitions. His paintings and films are in many private and museum collections at home and abroad .His works include about 40 author's films, 45 art and music actions, including those within the framework of the art groups Swallowers of Pearls from Odra and Cabinet of Plastic Operations, which he founded.
