Architect, interior designer, designer of industrial forms and publishing graphics, illustrator, painter. He was educated at the Faculty of Architecture of the Poznan University of Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology, where he received his master's degree having already achieved the status of an artist in the field of fine arts including painting, graphic design and design of industrial forms.The scope of Michal Ostaniewicz's work is extremely wide, but drawing and painting is the leading field. The artist, thanks to many years of experience, has an extremely rich and varied workshop. From the juxtaposed in various combinations of guilloches and ornaments with features of order and consistency in a series of unusual "wind roses", through personal architectural interpretations leading towards geometric abstractions with hidden content in the background to as if naturalistic, but devoid of plans and painting perspective, simplified in shape and form, flattened still life elements.
