Michal Bogucki (Warsaw 1946, lives in Warsaw) - painter, performer, author of polychromies, designer of stained glass windows and church interiors. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of Stefan Gierowski. During martial law, he participated as an artist and animator in independent exhibitions held in churches and unofficial spaces, organized by his parents Maria and Janusz Bogucki (the artist's parents ), then also Nina Smolarz: "Sign of the Cross", "Easter Grave", "Fifth Anniversary Gdansk 80", "Way of Lights", "Labyrinth".
The artist is engaged in exhibition activities. He was commissioner and stage designer of Jerzy Nowosielski's exhibitions in Warsaw, Olsztyn, Książ Castle in Walbrzych, Lviv, Vilnius, Moscow, Santiago de Compostella, Valencia, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Bucharest, as well as Adam Stalony-Dobrzański's stained-glass windows in Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Vinnitsa and Paris. Since 2007, he has organized annual exhibitions of Polish architecture, photography and painting at the Gallery of the National Museum in Tbilisi, as well as presentations of Polish cinematography at the International Author's Cinema Festival (BIAFF) in Batumi and at the International Animation Festival in Nikozi - (Georgia).
In 2009-2019 he created and ran the Museum of Icons in Warsaw. At the end of this period he returned to painting. In 2022 he participated in the exhibition "Meeting of the Times" at the Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw.
