Martyna Merkel, The copper landscape

Born in 1989 in Wroclaw, Poland. Studied at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture. Diploma in painting in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Kortyka and in the studio of Architectural Painting and Art in Public Space with Prof. Adam Chmielowiec in 2014.

She works in landscape painting, where she focuses on monotype technique and marine motif. Fascinated by color combinations, she produces series in blues, purples and grays. However, the young artist, who rejects the common need to be provocative and is slowly refining her technique, creating views of boats and coasts that are harmonious and calm in tone.
