Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in the studio of Prof. Jan Pręgowski in 2003 with a degree in easel painting. She attended the State High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz, majoring in graphic design.
Colorist, expressionist, introvert. After years of break, she returned to painting. The new series of works "Birds" was created as a result of strong emotions experienced.
It is a response to inner sensations caused by the difficult situation in the world, which reach high intensity and are released through painting. It is a kind of therapy, healing and purification of the soul.
It would take a long time to find peace and realism in the artist's works, it is symbolism combined with expression and abstraction.
The forms are conventional, they can lose their natural appearance. Although the painter draws inspiration from nature, but mainly dominated by her own experiences and emotions. Analyzing her works, one can observe that the "birds" have some human characteristics. One notices a gesture or a look, and feels some kind of correlation between the "characters."
One can sense various emotions in the paintings: closeness, love, caring, concern, but sometimes one senses a heightened tension,
just as it happens in everyday life.
The series "Birds" is a story of freedom, love and family. Each picture is a tangle of situations, it is storytelling. Events that occur in families and human relationships. And the birds are a symbol - a strong desire for freedom.
Her works are in private collections at home and abroad. In the United States, France, Germany, the Netherlands.
