Maria Dawska (1909-1993) wł. Maria Stanisława Moszaro Zimmerman Dawska. W latach 1928-1933 studiowała na ASP w Krakowie na Wydziale Malarstwa i Rzeźby. Następnie rozpoczęła studia z zakresu pedagogiki i historii sztuki na Uniwersytecie Jana Kazimierza we Lwowie. W 1933 r. była współzałożycielką grupy plastyków "Orion". W 1956r. została profesorem na WSSP we Wrocławiu. Jej prace można oglądać m.in. w warszawskiej Zachęcie i Muzeum Śląskim we Wrocławiu.
