Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1975-1980 in the studio of Stefan Gierowski. In the early 1980s, he painted abstract, multicolored compositions composed of repetitive elements or simplified, synthetic natural shapes. In 1983, he joined Gruppa, participating in almost all of its appearances, also co-editing its magazine "Oj dobrze już", in which he published numerous theoretical texts. In the early 1980s he painted paintings alluding to martial law (Gandzia, 1983), also taking up the "Indian" theme characteristic of that time and circle as a current metaphor. In addition to painting, the artist creates installations and spatial objects. He writes theoretical and literary texts.
