Malgorzata Rozmarynowska was born in 1955. She completed her studies at the State Higher School of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts, and received her diploma in the studio of Prof. Władysław Jackiewicz in 1981.
The artist has had solo and group exhibitions in Sopot, Gdansk, Lodz, New York, Paris, Stockholm, Helsinki and Brussels.
Malgorzata Rozmarynowska creates a world of small towns and villages that no longer exists. She is a guide giving tours and showing what is worth seeing from times that have passed. These are often Jewish towns from a century ago, where everyone knows and trusts each other. They are happy, though they don't know what will happen to them. Their world will be gone, though after all, it will remain in the paintings of a talented artist.
