Raised by painter and pedagogue Prof. Zygmunt Madejski -1960-1971, she studied in the studios of Prof. Janusz Przybylski and Prof. Stefan Gierowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1971 to 1974. In 1967 she won one of the first places in the youth competition Poster for the Millennium. She mainly works in painting, but also draws, illustrates books, designs posters, graphic signs, photography and sculpture. She also has a stage design episode to her credit. She has illustrated books including those by Lewis Carroll, Mordechai Gebirtig, Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, Gianni Rodari, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Robert Stiller, Rabindranath Tagore, Andrzej Waligórski, Ludwika Woznicka and others. She has produced some 1,300 paintings, most of which are in private collections and galleries in Poland and abroad. She has had many solo exhibitions in many countries, including France, Israel, Cambodia, Germany, the United States, Sweden, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates and many cities in Poland. In 1970 she did set designs for a student theater, and 1994 she did set designs for TVP1 and Polsat. In 1977, she worked with psychiatric patients at the Medical Academy Clinic in Warsaw. She is a member of the Union of Polish Artists and Designers and the Jewish Community in Warsaw. For several years she sat on the board of the Social and Cultural Society of Jews in Poland.
