The artist was born in 1979 in Lodz, Poland. In her hometown, she graduated from the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Textile and Fashion, majoring in Design, specializing in textile design in the Carpet and Tapestry Studio, led by Prof. Jolanta Rudzka-Habisiak and Prof. Mariusz Kowalski, and painting in the Drawing and Painting Studio of Prof. Andrzej Gieraga. In 2009, she was awarded the "Kowary" Carpet Factory Prize. In the same year, she joined the ranks of the emerging New Kuyavia Group, which brings together the art community of Wloclawek, as she lived in Wloclawek for several years. In 2014, she began her doctoral studies in environmental studies at her home university.Magdalena Bezat's artistic interests include painting and artistic textiles. In addition to her creative activities, she has also conducted art workshops in Wloclawek cultural institutions - Gallery of Contemporary Art and Cultural Center Browar B. Currently, she is a teacher of Artistic Textile at the High School of Fine Arts in Wloclawek.
