Painter, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow between 1946 and 1952, graduating in 1952 with
Jerzy Fedkowicz. He was friends with Jerzy Kossak, in whose studio he painted. Since 1974 he lived and worked in Vienna. He most readily took up battle themes, seeking inspiration in the paintings of Zygmunt Rozwadowski, Stanisław Kaczor-
Batowski and the Kossaks.
