Krzysztof Płonka is engaged in surrealist painting, depicting alternative, magical and dark worlds. In his painting work, the artist is mainly inspired by Zdzislaw Beksinski. As he himself says about his work: I will not hide that I am inspired by the master Beksinski, in fact, this is the only reason why I paint. I think he opened the door to another dimension, which is completely real and functions parallel to ours. In this dimension, time works in a different way, decay takes hundreds of years and does not allow the questions living in it to die completely. The beings who inhabit this abyss wander around looking for a way to self-destruct.
