Jarosiewicz Jadwiga Maria - graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Prof. Czeslaw Rzepinski and the Postgraduate Study of Scenography under the direction of Prof. Andrzej Kreutz Majewski. She has a large creative output in both fields. As a stage designer, she has realized more than 100 premieres mainly in opera theaters in Poland and abroad. She prepared many projects for the Grand Theater - National Opera in Warsaw, including for "Halka" and "Home Song" by Stanislaw Moniuszko, directed by Maria Foltyn. She worked with the Polish Theater in Warsaw under the direction of Kazimierz Dejmak. Intense ties with the theater never prevented Jadwiga Maria Jarosiewicz from participating in artistic life. The leading theme of her painting is man. She is a portraitist of people and animals. She has also recently turned to sacred subjects. She has presented her paintings and scenographic works at about 60 solo exhibitions. She is creatively connected with her native Podkarpacie and Podkarpacka Zachêta - many of her paintings were created here. She participates in plein-air painting workshops in Boguchwala and Wiśniowa. She participates in important exhibitions and charity auctions. The artist's works are in many private and museum collections in Poland and around the world.
