Graphic artist. Graduated from the Post-Secondary School at the Society of Modern Education in Torun - graduated in 2006 - specializing in graphic design.
The works he composes, have the characteristics of both printmaking and painting. By combining different techniques, he gives each work an individual character. At the center of his aesthetic fascinations are mainly the Four Elements. As a rule, the artist's works show moments of transcending oneself - they present a moment of fundamental transformation of one's ego, or a transition from one emotional state to another. This metamorphosis is usually violent and aggressive - hence the color and form - because only such awakens from dormancy and allows a new consciousness to emerge. Some of the works are also reinterpretations of symbols present in culture.
He is also inspired by the human figure, trying to reflect its sensibility and dynamism. Works inspired by historic architecture are of a similar nature. Several hundred-year-old buildings penetrate, as it were, into the structure of trees, the colors of clouds and light spill over the roofs of houses and churches, marking the shape of streets.
He is also involved in photography; using various types of filters, he achieves unique effects. Another of his passions is short, "painterly" structural film, resulting in four film "paintings": Time, Time in Amber, Ecce Homo and Axis Mundi. Music for the latter two was recorded by the band "Hati."
Jacek Zielinski's works are in many private collections in Poland Germany, France, England, Spain, Holland, Norway, Sweden and Russia, as well as in Canada.
