In 1939 he graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Feliks Szczęsny Kowarski and Leonard Pękalski. He was a member of the "Warsaw" group. Painter, graphic artist and draughtsman not affiliated with any group or artistic orientation. He used various techniques (brush, pen, graphic techniques, ink) created monothematic series, including "Seabed," "War Against Man," "Imaginary Portraits," series "Reminiscences," "Epitaphs," "Family," "Sacrum." He painted paintings with synthesized forms and figures, with rich backgrounds and relief textures, and was also involved in mural painting and stained glass (design of a stained glass window for the Mausoleum of Struggle and Martyrdom in Szucha Avenue in Warsaw).
