Klimek Grzegorz "Head XIX"
80x60cm, own technique, 2020
Klimek's paintings reflect a constant search for the basic structures of the most diverse things that surround us. In his paintings, he uses a variety of media, which when mixed, scratched and re-painted produce original structural effects. The painted images often consist of several layers enclosed in a coherent composition. An interesting fact is that the artist himself makes the paints with which he paints. When asked about his most interesting memory, Klimek answers that he associates it with receiving an award for the best diploma in Warsaw, when he saw large billboards with his name on the Palace of Culture and Science.
