In painting, he is interested in investigating the structures that are the building blocks of each of the objects around us. It is their relationship in micro, and macro space that determines the "reality" we see. Attempts at mapping, multiplication or synthesis are painstaking inquiries aimed at discovering and understanding reality in a multithreaded dialogue between creator and work.
"The main feature of his painting is his fascination with space, geometric forms, their structure and the very texture of his canvases - often very rich, achieved with the help of mixed painting techniques. Visible here are the influences of the important in Polish contemporary painting Wroclaw structuralism, developed (along with colorism) at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts, from which Grzegorz Klimek graduated. This makes his work all the more interesting, enabling the dissemination of such a distinctive yet hermetic artistic tendency and its further 'export' beyond the Wroclaw environment - to the Warsaw, national or European market."
