Biography
Ewa Jasek
Artist painter, graduate of PLSP, PWSSP in Poznan. Since the beginning of her education, painting has become her most important means of artistic expression. Ewa Jasek's work, although it evokes associations with the pop art of the 1960s and 1970s, draws its aesthetics and even its ornamentation from modernity. Rather, it can be said that her painting refers to the best traditions of the genre bringing in its own means of expression. In her painting, Ewa Jasek spectacularly combines several planes and even styles, giving the viewer a new? value at the highest level. Ewa Jasek is also an animator of culture, organizer of workshops, plein-air paintings and exhibitions. Parallel to her artistic work, she ran the School of Young Talents for many years, as well as art classes in Cultural Centers. She is the author of a reconstruction of a painting lost during World War II, "Ecce homo" by Anthon van Dyck. The artist has had numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Hundreds of oil and acrylic paintings are a considerable artistic output of more than a dozen years of creative work.
