Edward Dw urnik(Radzymin 1943 - Warsaw 2018) Graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied from1963-1970. Dwurnik's fundamental creative inspiration was learning about the paintings of Nikifor Krynicki, the Polish master of primitivism. Dwurnik's works were clearly influenced by the transformations and social moods in Poland from which the author drew creative energy. As a result, the master's paintings deal with both serious subjects (for example, Martial Law) and cheerful and joyful ones, of which "Tulip" is one.
