The work presented at auction is a continuation of the diptych "The Devil and Temperance".
The work is dedicated to the difficult to overcome stages in the life of an individual. There are often periods in our lives when there is absolutely no energy to act or even think. These can be periods of self-consciousness, stagnation or the overwhelming influence of external circumstances. During such periods, one wants to collect thoughts, breathe, gain strength and, most importantly, see a light in the tunnel that will add hope and determination. This will make the "bed" no longer seem like an insurmountable obstacle.

BIOGRAM:

My name is Dima Kashtalyan. I am a 35-year-old artist, illustrator and street artist.
I currently live and work in Warsaw, Poland.

I use an original detailed technique. I would call my style dotwork, puentilism, stippling. I draw, create black and white and color graphics, street art and illustrations. I have been painting for more than 10 years. I started with classical graffiti.
The main principle that I follow in my work is honesty and awareness of responsibility to the audience. I believe that creative work is an extremely important part of a person's life, so it should be treated with care and intelligence.
All my works are a reflection of my inner world, my emotions, my life position and principles. I draw only what I sincerely believe in and what I think is worth doing, even if it is not popular. Before I create a new work, I think carefully about the idea, the message and the artistic means with which I present my point of view.


In my art, I always address issues that are relevant to both contemporary society and the individual. For this purpose, I use mostly familiar objects, giving them a non-standard form and symbolic meaning. In addition, I try to create and maintain my distinctive style in each work. To enhance the effect of my artworks, I use a large format and carefully develop each work.
