About the Artist:
Born in Częstochowa, he still lives and works there. He graduated from the Jacek Malczewski High School of Fine Arts, then continued his education at the Jan Długosz Academy. The artist has been painting for more than 20 years, and is known on the art market as a representative of the surrealism - magic realism trend. He takes us into his magical world. He has dedicated his entire life to it so far, the path he has taken is somewhat winding and convoluted, but walking it he has perfected his technique and painting techniques, learning from the most distinguished masters in this discipline. The painter has already earned a high position in the art market, largely thanks to the workshop side as well as a great imagination. He walks his own path and does not succumb to influence. The artist's paintings are stories that take us into the surreal world of the painter. He has already presented his work at many outstanding exhibitions and art fairs in London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Cracow, and most often in his native Czestochowa, where the artist lives and works. Darek's paintings can be found in the most distinguished galleries throughout Poland and with private collectors both at home and abroad.

The artist observes the world around him and, thanks to his painting skills, reflects its reflection on canvas. The paintings are not always fully comprehensible and legible, but they always contain the artist's characteristic message. He takes us into his own world filled with the symbolism of his feelings. The artist claims that everything that happened in his life was closely interconnected, successive stages, tracks of growing up and learning. Each of his works carries an incredible emotional charge, which he hopes and sincerely believes will appeal to each individual viewer. His art is himself. The people he portrays rarely reflect their superficiality, the artist seeks to capture the emotions associated with the figure, the fleeting moments of their feelings. He begins to build his creative work on the painting starting with an accurate drawing. Through the painting form, which, under the influence of color, begins to enrich the original premise of the painting. In the creative process, he does not close himself to the general premise, he is open to new and more interesting solutions, which often come out only during the long cycle of painting. The artist says that it rarely happens to him that the planned vision of a work is the final one. He tries to leave the effect of the moment locked in his eyes. Painting, he says, gives him the greatest lightness of expression of emotion and expression, it is his life's joy, which he has nurtured for 20 years. As he says, many interesting and inspiring people have passed through his life, thanks to whom, he says, he has become the artist he is, not another.

Dariusz Slusarsky is a well-known figure in art circles. The artist's paintings are in many prominent private collections - they are very popular with the public. Years of work and sacrifice are beginning to bring the artist the result of his actions, which is evident in his paintings.
