After conservation. Zofia Jarema was the director of the Groteska Theater for over a quarter of a century. Already during her hist. art studies, she became involved with the first Cricot Theater and Wł. Jarema, with whom she traveled to Belarus, where she headed the Art Studio of the Polish Puppet Theater. At Groteska, distinguished by staging not only for children, but also for adult audiences (Galczynski, Brecht, Mrozek, Bursa, Lem, Jarry), she was in charge of stage design, masks and puppets. Due to the collaborative nature of the work, it is often difficult to indicate the extent of specific productions.
Cecylia STYRYLSKA-TARANCZEWSKA (1923-2010). Painter and graphic artist, in 1944 she began her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, in 1947 she received her diploma from E. Eibisch, her diploma in 1955. She is associated primarily with abstract woodcuts and monumental mosaics at the Cracow Biprostal. She was also involved, among other things, in the realization of mural paintings in churches in southern Poland, co-designed stained glass windows, and arranged the interior of the Drobnerowka cabaret. She taught lettering at the Faculty of Graphics in Katowice, composition at the Faculty of Painting in Cracow; she also taught at the Cracow High School of Fine Arts. She was a member of ZPAP and the Polish section of XYLON. She actively exhibited at home and abroad.
