In this shot, the composition of the bouquet is more like a tree - self-contained, suspended in darkness.Taped to the stretcher were payment receipts issued by the Pracownie Sztuk Plastycznych in Warsaw, confirming the painting's authorship.
Barbara Jonscher (April 16, 1926 in Bydgoszcz - October 21, 1986 in Warsaw) is a Polish painter. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and Warsaw, she participated in the National Exhibition of Young Visual Arts "Against War, Against Fascism" at the Warsaw Arsenal (1955), where she was awarded a prize for painting and drawing. In 1981, she was honored with the Janusz Cybis Award. A member of the free-thinking Crooked Circle Club. Her work revolved around such themes as landscape, still life and portrait, operating with contrast in form and composition. Intimate, often even intimate landscapes are characterized by lively brushstrokes; at the same time, the colorful uniformity of her works are vivid, contrasting colors, emphasized by bold handling of light.Condition as in photos.
