Biography
She studied painting at the University of Zielona Gora and the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In May 2005, she received a diploma in painting in the studio of Prof. M.Swieszewski. In addition to painting, she does mural painting, stained glass, printmaking and stage design. Currently, she works at the Academy of Fine Arts as an assistant in the studio of wall painting and stained glass. In 2013, she defended her dissertation titled "Means of symmetry." The main subject of painting is man. She paints in cycles, because the idea of a painting is not exhausted in one work. This allows her to keep searching for new formal solutions to the painting problems that bother her. In her works, the artist refers to traditional representations known from the history of painting and develops them, often reaching for the conventions of pastiche. She portrays herself and those close to her. She wishes to confront the way of depicting ancient art with the content brought by modernity.
