Bio:
Anna Szprynger was born in 1982 in Warsaw, Poland. She studied graphic design and painting at the College of Fine Arts in Kazimierz Dolny and at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. She received her diploma with honors under the guidance of Professors Tomasz Zawadzki and Grzegorz Dobieslaw Mazurek.
In 2014, she defended her doctoral thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, under the direction of Professor Dorota Grynczel.
She has had 26 solo exhibitions, including at Slag Gallery in New York (2019), Galerie Lindner in Vienna (2017), National Museum in Gdansk (2014), EL Gallery in Elblag (2014), State Art Gallery in Sopot (2012). She has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions. In 2013 she was awarded the Prix Marin at the Paris Salon Réalités Nouvelles and in 2015 she received the Arteon Prize for 2014.
