Biography of the Artist:
Andrzej Troc (1953r) I was born and live in Zielona Gora. I have been interested in art for a long time, but numerous twists and turns in my life distanced me from my own work. However, I have now been working systematically creating for 13 years. I am self-taught, I independently struggle with workshop difficulties and breaking patterns, I am constantly looking for new solutions. I call my work drawing with paints. It gives me great pleasure. In this respect, I am a lucky person. This is my passion, and this is how my life has worked out so that I can devote myself to it entirely. Over the years I have acquired a diverse experience, which greatly influences my work. A note of irony, absurdity and dreams often seen in a distorted mirror, deformed, bizarre, caricatured "sexpotworks" are among the many themes explored in my works. A glimpse into primitive social behavior, balancing between bad and good, paranoia and beauty are the sources of my inspiration. Please note that the sides of the paintings on a stretcher bar (the so-called painting loom), are not damaged by: splashes from paint (e.g., on the unpainted side of the painting), traces of the plates attaching the stretcher to the frame (so-called flexes) or unevenly cut canvas. The above are not grounds for complaint, as they are not the obverse and reverse of the painting.
